Michael holds a degree in Special Makeup Effects from Tom Savini's Special Makeup Effects Program at the Douglas Education Center. He's put those skills to work at Tolin Effects (Pittsburgh), Immortal Masks (San Dimas), and Legacy Effects (San Fernando) — plus his own annual Halloween decorations.
At Legacy Effects, his projects have included Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Fallout, and The Mandalorian — where he even got to puppeteer Grogu (Baby Yoda).
He is also a certified death doula, for all your death and dying needs.
